It’s believed that the building blocks for life arrived on earth with meteors. Lake Manicouagan is a 100 kilometer wide crater that formed 214 million years ago in such a collision. The lake and surrounding land are recreated here using satellite data. A DNA-inspired city grows and spreads from the point of impact. Hidden LEDs cast a pulsing glow across terraced land and city forms.
